**Bergenfield Partners with Local Agencies for Successful Annual Rabies Clinic**

*BERGENFIELD, December 10, 2023 — On Sunday, December 10th, the Borough of Bergenfield hosted a highly successful bi-annual Rabies Clinic. The event took place at the DPW garage from 10 am to 12 pm, providing a convenient and accessible venue for residents to ensure the health and well-being of their beloved pets.
A total of 50 cats and dogs from the Bergenfield community received the essential Rabies vaccine during the clinic, a testament to the borough's commitment to promoting responsible pet ownership and safeguarding public health.

Council President Marc Pasqual, who was present at the clinic, emphasized the importance of this free service to the community. "This is an important free service we can provide to residents of the community," Council President Pasqual stated. "Our pets are our family members, and they deserve to be healthy, and I am proud to be here today witnessing the positive impact on our community."
The clinic, organized by the collaborative efforts of the Bergenfield Borough, TYCO Animal Control, and Bergenfield DPW, demonstrated efficiency and care. Residents were able to drive in with their animals, where technicians administered the Rabies shots one by one. After receiving the vaccine, pets were safely loaded back into their owners' vehicles, ensuring a smooth and stress-free experience for both pets and their caregivers.

Events such as the Rabies Clinic not only contribute to the health and well-being of pets but also foster a sense of community responsibility and compassion. The Borough of Bergenfield remains committed to providing valuable services that enhance the quality of life for its residents and their furry companions.
