General Election - "3 Ways to Vote"

Bergenfield residents are able to vote three different ways this year. 

1. Vote by Mail - if you received a ballot in the mail, you may return your completed voted ballot to the secure drop box behind borough hall (near the back entrance of the building). 

2. Vote Early - early voting locations will run until Sunday, October 31.  Locations will be open Monday - Saturday, from 10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. 6:00 p.m.  There are no early voting locations in Bergenfield.  However, there are several locations in Bergen County, including the following locations near Bergenfield: 

Hackensack
One Bergen County Plaza

Teaneck
Richard Rodda Center, 250 Colonial Court

Paramus
Bergen Community College IT Building, 400 Paramus Road

3.  Vote In-Person - all Bergenfield polling locations will be open for in-person voting on Tuesday, November 2 from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m.  Please see your sample ballot for your polling location.

Bergen County to Hold Opening Ceremony for Photographic War Memorial at Overpeck County Park on October 27

BERGEN COUNTY, NJ -- Bergen County Executive Jim Tedesco and the Bergen County Board of Commissioners are inviting the public to join them for a ceremony honoring American military members that have fallen post 9/11. The ceremony will take place on Wednesday, October 27 at 5:30pm at Overpeck County Park in Ridgefield. 

 

The ceremony will be for the opening of a photographic war memorial that will be open for viewing October 28-November 2 from 8am-7pm.

Voter Registration Deadline for the General Election - October 12, 2021

The deadline to register to vote in the November General Election is Tuesday, October 12th.  Voter Registration forms are available at the Borough Clerk's office, or can be downloaded from the borough website.  Residents can also register to vote online at the following link: https://voter.svrs.nj.gov/register

The Borough Clerk's office will be open till 7:30 p.m. for Late Night Voter Registration on Tuesday, October 12th.

Election Update - Vote by Mail Ballots have been mailed to Bergenfield Voters with Active Requests

Please be advised, the Bergen County Clerk's mailed ballots to residents with active vote by mail requests.  If you have an active request, but have not received your ballot, please call the Bergen County Clerk's office at 201-337-7030 to request a duplicate. 

You may return your ballot by mail or deposit into the secure drop box located behind Borough Hall (back entrance of the building).
