Bergenfield asks Residents to Call DPW to Schedule Pick up of Flood Related Garbage

BERGENFIELD, NJ -- The Borough is asking residents with storm related damage from last week to call the DPW at (201) 387-4055 ext. 3 to schedule pick up. The DPW will pick-up storm related items only. Because the Federal Government has declared NJ as a "State of Emergency", the DPW is required to document the homes damaged and maintain records for the work they are conducting related to this storm. Please be patient if your garbage is not collected immediately as there are delays at the garbage dumps due to the overwhelming damgage casued throughout the State from this latest storm.
