While the Bergenfield Library's building is closed until further notice, the library staff are here to help you and your family cope during the public health crisis.
Though you're stuck at home, we are pleased to announce the launch of the Bergenfield Public Library's "Virtual Branch," featuring access to all of our free e-collections, our weekly Children's and Teen virtual programming schedule, information about research databases to assist you with school projects, access to our remote ESL and Museum Pass programs and more!
For those who do not have a library card, you are in luck! Any Bergenfield resident may sign up for a temporary BCCLS Digital Card to have free access to all of our e-services. Learn more and apply from here!
If you have any questions during this time, you can speak with a staff member in real time using the "Contact Us" button on our website or email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.
During this time, residents are encouraged to follow the Bergenfield Library's Facebook page to view all of our virtual programs and read local community updates.
As a public library, we always want to provide as much service to the public as we possibly can, even in these difficult circumstances. During our closure, overdue fines will be waived on all Bergenfield items. You may continue to return your items in our book and AV drops on Clinton Avenue. Our wireless network (BPL-Public) remains on 24/7 and can be accessed from your car in the parking lot.
We hope everyone stays safe and sound during this challenging situation. Be Well!
