Pursuant to the Governor's Executive Order 177, the General Election will be conducted primarily by Vote by Mail on Tuesday, November 3, 2020.
- All active voters will automatically receive a Vote by Mail ballot with prepaid return postage. The County will begin to mail ballots on or before October 5th.
- Please note, there will be no sample ballots for this election. Instead, all active voters will receive notice with information such as the location of polling places and secured drop box locations.
Voted mail-in ballots may be returned by mail, in-person, or deposited into a secured drop box.
- By Mail: Voted mail-in ballots will need to be postmarked by November 3rd and received by November 10th to be counted.
- In-Person: Voters will be able to return their ballots in person to their designated polling place. Voters who visit the polling place on election day, and do not return a voted mail-in ballot, will be able to vote by Provisional Ballot. Accommodations will be made for voters with disabilities. Poll workers and voters in the polling places will be required to follow CDC guidelines.
- Drop Box: Secured drop boxes will be located throughout the County.
