Disabled American Veterans Hosting Lunchtime Fundraiser Through October

The Disabled American Veterans Northern Valley Chapter 32 will be hosting a lunch time fundraiser everyday Wednesday through Saturday through November 1 to help recover lost revenue from the COVID-19 pandemic.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., the organization will be serving hamburgers, hot dogs in the parking lot of 8 Veterans Plaza. All of the food will be cooked and served in accordance with the state’s food and safety standards. Attendees will not be permitted inside the building and lunch will be served in a “grab and go” style.

Since the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic, the DAV has been unable to rent out their hall or solicit donations to help the organization operate. All of the funds will be used to help regenerate the DAV’s reserve fund, which has now been nearly deleted.
