Today (11/30/20), the DPW leaf collection crews collected leaf piles on the west side of the Borough on Westview Drive, Surrey Lane, Baker Avenue, end of John Place, and on Thames Boulevard. On the east side, the crews collected leaf piles on Haven Avenue, Lincoln Avenue, Lunn Avenue, and side streets in between, as well as Porter Avenue southward onto Brookview Terrace, including Pine Drive.
Tomorrow (12/1/20), the DPW leaf collection crews will collect leaf piles on the west side of the Borough on Highgate Terrace and south-eastward. On the east side, the crews will collect leaf piles on Marcotte Lane, Seminary Street, Seminary Court, Mackay Drive, and then over on Murray Hill Terrace, Beucler Place, Brook Street, and working southward.

Bergen County, in partnership with Bergen New Bridge Medical Center, is expanding COVID-19 testing efforts by launching a new drive-thru program at Bergen Community College located at 400 Paramus Rd, Paramus, N.J.
The program will offer antigen nasal swab rapid COVID-19 tests that provide results in 24 hours or less on the following days below for the month of December:
All testing will be done between 9:00 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. with the exception of Saturday, with testing concluding at 2 p.m.
Testing is available to all county residents free of charge, regardless of health insurance status. Residents must schedule their test through an online portal which can be reached at www.BergenCOVIDTesting.com. Please note residents must bring their mobile device for check-in. Identification is necessary so please bring ANY ONE OF THE FOLLOWING: your driver’s license/ID card, social security card, passport, or birth certificate. Proof of Bergen County residency or proof of employment that you work for one of the 70 municipalities or are employed by a Bergen County public school is required so please bring your driver’s license, utility bill, employee work ID or paystub. If you have health insurance, please bring your with you as well.
Today (11/25/20), the DPW leaf collection crews collected leaf piles on the west side of the Borough from Hallberg Avenue southward to Glenwood Drive South, excluding Westview Drive. On the east side, the crews collected leaf piles on Clinton Park Drive, Carlson Place, Clyde Court, and Lincoln Avenue.
On Monday (11/30/20), the DPW leaf collection crews will collect leaf piles on the west side of the Borough on Westview Drive, and also from Surrey Lane southward. On the east side, the crews will collect leaf piles on Haven Avenue, Lunn Avenue, and side streets in between, working southward.

Borough Hall will close tomorrow, Wednesday, November 25 at 1:00 p.m. ahead of the Thanksgiving holiday. Borough Hall will resume normal business hours on Monday, November 30. Due to the Holiday, Garbage operations are still scheduled for pickup on Friday (Quadrant 2 & 4) & Saturday (Quandrant 1&3). . Please check with your calendar for the most up to date collection information.
Additionally, street side pick up of leaf collection will end on Friday, December 4th. We ask that you assist the Borough by having your leaves curbside prior to this date. Thank you and have a safe and happy Thanksgiving.
Today (11/24/20), the DPW leaf collection crews collected leaf piles on the west side of the Borough from Levitt Avenue southward to Spring Avenue. On the east side, the crews collected leaf piles from E. Main Street southward to E. Clinton Avenue, except for Clinton Park Drive. On the east side, the crews also collected leaf piles on Porter Avenue.

Please be advised the Bergenfield food pantry will be closed on Thursday, November 26 in observance of Thanksgiving. The food pantry will resume normal operating hours on Monday, November 30.

Clinton Avenue. On the east side, the crews collected leaf piles from the Deerfield Street and Bradley Avenue area, including Bogert Place, Cedar Street, Willow Street, and Davis Drive.
Tomorrow (11/24/20), the DPW leaf collection crews will collect leaf piles on the west side of the Borough south of W. Clinton Avenue. On the east side, the crews will collect leaf piles south of Grove Street.
