The Borough of Bergenfield and Bergenfield High School are hosting a Green Fair on Friday, April 15, 2016 in the Bergenfield High School at 80 South Prospect Avenue, Bergenfield, NJ. The event will run from 9 am to 1 pm and there is no cost to participants. Setup will begin at 8 am.

The purpose for the fair is to raise awareness of the environmental activities that are part of our everyday lives and to recognize those businesses and organizations that contribute to improving the environment. The event will provide an opportunity for businesses and organizations to share their environmental accomplishments.

We ask that you join us at the Green Fair. We will provide a table for your setup. You can tell your story and answer question about what you are doing in your business or organization, what you are buying and /or what you selling. Whatever your story, it will add value to the event.

This Green Fair will assist the Borough of Bergenfield and Bergenfield High School to earn points toward Sustainable Jersey Certification. The event will be managed and coordinated by an Eagle Scout candidate as a service project for both the town and school. Join us for the annual Holiday Party at Cooper's Pond! Saturday, December 5th from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. There will be light refreshments and gifts for kids until supplies last. Santa Claus will arrive around 1:30 p.m., and the tree lighting will take place at approximately 4:30 p.m. The Museum Society will also be hosting an open house from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. Hope to see you there!

• DPW will start their last round of leaf collection. Please make sure to bring your leaves to the street for the final week of collection.
• Starting Monday, December 7th, DPW will collect in Quadrant 1, from the train tracks South towards East side of town.
