Monday (11/14/22)- Daily Leaf Collection Update

Today, (11/14/22), the DPW leaf crews collected at the following:

West side of the Borough, moving North from Franklin Ave, Sugden to Blauvelt.

East side of the Borough, from Brookview to Terrace.

Tuesday, (11/15/22), the DPW leaf collection crews will continue in the following areas:

Finishing Stillman Ave, then moving to Johnson Ave, moving South.  

East side of the Borough, moving south from East Broad St.  

 

Please remove cars from the Streets that the DPW leaf crews are working on so that they can clear the leaf piles.

Tuesday (11/15/22)- Daily Leaf Collection Update

Today, (11/15/22), the DPW leaf crews collected at the following:

Southeast end of Borough, finishing south of E. Broad Street. Also, starting Twin Boro Lane.

Wednesday (11/16/22), the DPW leaf collection crews will start the route from the Dumont border, starting at Gallagher Ct working West of Prospect Ave, as well as New Jersey Ave, moving South. 

 

Please remove cars from the streets that the DPW leaf crews are working on so that they can clear the leaf piles. 

 

Thursday (11/10/22)- Daily Leaf Collection Update

Today, (11/10/22), the DPW leaf crews collected at the following:

West side of Borough, from Haring St to Arlington St. between W. Clinton Ave and W. Main St.

East side of the Borough, from Pleasant Ave, Highland and the Marcotte Lane Area. 

Monday (11/14/22), the DPW leaf collection crews will continue in the following areas:

West Side of the Borough, from S. Franklin Ave to Prospect Ave going North. 

East side of the Borough, from east of Washington Ave and south of E. Clinton Ave. 

 

Please remove cars from the streets that the DPW leaf crews are working on so that they can clear the leaf piles. 

 

** Due to the inclement pending weather paving on Hickory has been cancelled for Friday 11/11/22. Roadwork will continue Saturday 11/12/22 as scheduled.

Wednesday (11/9/22) - Daily Leaf Collection Update

Today, (11/9/22), the DPW leaf collected at the following:

West side of Borough, from Morgan Street to W. Clinton Ave

East side of Borough, from Porter Ave to Pleasant Ave (from Orchard to Tenafly border) 

Tomorrow (11/9/22), the DPW leaf collection crews will continue in the following areas: 

West side of Borough, working between W. Clinton Ave and W. Main St.

Southeast side of Borough, finishing Pleasant Ave, Highland, and the Marcotte Ln area

 

*Please remove cars from the streets the DPW leaf crews are working on so that they can clear the leaf piles. 

**Hickory Ave will be paved between 11/11/22 and 11/14/22, please avoid putting leaves in the street on Hickory during that time. 

Tuesday (11/8/22)- Daily Leaf Collection Update

Today (11/8/22), the DPW leaf collection crews collected at the following:

South side of Borough (between S. Prospect and Woodbine) from Schoolcraft to Lake Street

Northeast side between Grove St and Clinton Ave.

Tomorrow (11/9/22), the DPW leaf collection crews will continue in the following areas:

West side of the Borough working in the Anderson Ave area.

East side of the Borough starting, at Porter Ave, working towards Washington Ave. 

*The leaves have fallen heavy and fast, we are working on getting them cleaned up **

Monday (11/7/22)- Daily Leaf Collection Update

Today (11/7/22), the DPW leaf collection crews collected at the following:

West side of Borough, South of New Bridge Road, from Sussex Road to Windsor Road, including Manning Road, part of Wildrose and Greenwich. 

Northeast side of Borough, includes the South side of E. Main St to Madison Ave, as well as areas around Haven, Lincoln and Lunn. 

 

Tomorrow (11/8/22), the DPW leaf collection crews will continue New Bridge North, as well as Grove St. South, in the Clinton Park Drive Area. 

 

*Main roads are vac hauled and are done on a rotating cycle. 

DPW Garbage & Recycling Holiday Pickup Schedule: Veterans Day 11/11/22

Please review your 2022 Garbage & Recycling pick up schedule calendar for changes in the pickup schedule during the week of 11/7/22 to 11/11/22. The Borough Hall Offices and the DPW will be closed on Friday 11/11/22 in observance of Veterans Day. Changes in the pickup schedule are highlighted in yellow on the garbage & recycling pickup schedule calendar.

Thursday (11/3/22)- Daily Leaf Collection Update

 The DPW leaf collection crews will be collecting leaf piles from Spring Ave going South, as well as Hickory Ave going South. 

 

Reminder: Parking close or on top of leaf piles may affect the pickup. We are unable to come back right away if a pile is missed, due to vehicles or obstructions. Please be mindful of your own vehicles and where you are parking. 

 

 

Tuesday (11/1/22)- Daily Leaf Collection Update

Today (11/1/22), the DPW leaf collection crew collected on the Northwest side of the Borough, from Twin Boro Ln, to River Edge Road, including the West side of Harrington Street.

Tomorrow (11/2/22), the DPW leaf collection crews will be collection leaf piles from River Edge Rd going South and from Phelps Ave going South.

 

Reminder: Parking close or on top of leaf piles may affect the pickup. We are unable to come back right away if a pile is missed, due to vehicles or obstructions. Please be mindful of your own vehicle and where you are parking.
