There will be a community litter cleanup event at Cooper’s Pond Park on Sunday 10/18/20 from 2pm-4pm, open to all the public. Non-medical disposable face coverings, disposable non-latex gloves, light duty safety work gloves, safety glasses, and pickers will be available to volunteers during the litter cleanup event. Any non single-use item will be sanitized before and after each use. Hand sanitizer, disinfectant wipes, and restrooms to wash hands with soap and water will be available to volunteers during the event. Face coverings and social distancing required. This Sunday 10/4/20, the BCUA (County) Tires/Electronics/Mobile Paper Shredding/Unwanted Medication Collection Event will be held as scheduled at Bergen County Campgaw Mountain Reservation, 200 Campgaw Road, Mahwah NJ.

As of 8/31/20, the DPW is no longer picking up piles of brush placed directly at the curb/on the street from the 8/4/20 storm.

As of 8/31/20, please cut into 4 ft lengths, bundle, and tie all branches, and please place leaves and other yard debris into paper bags or 32-gallon or less containers, in accordance with the vegetative waste pickup schedule guidelines.
