Regular weekly vegetative waste pickup begins the week of April 3rd, 2023. Please review your quadrant's 2023 garbage & recycling pickup schedule calendar for the vegetative waste pickup day in your quadrant. Vegetative waste pickup days are marked with the letter "V" on the front of the garbage & recycling pickup schedule calendar. Please also review the guidelines on the back of the pickup schedule under the "Vegetative Waste (V)- Grass, Leaves, Branches, Yard Waste" section. 

Vegetative waste may be placed in paper bags or in 32-gallon size or less containers that are no heavier than 50lbs each. No plastic bags. Branches must be cut into 4-feet lengths, bundled, tied and placed directly at the curb. Please place vegetative waste at the curb no earlier than 6:00pm the evening before a vegetative waste pickup day in your quadrant or before 6:00am on the day a vegetative waste pickup day in your quadrant.

As of March 1, 2023, the Borough will receive a shipment of new garbage/recycling carts. Due to a price increase, the new cost for the 95gal garbage/recycling cart is $63.00ea.

DPW office visits will be by appointment only for the week of February 7th to February 10th due to the construction in the parking lot. The parking lot is obstructed, and we need to lessen the traffic in the area.
