The impending snow storm has forced the cancellation of garbage pickup in Bergenfield's 2nd & 4th quadrants. 3rd Quadrant Paper pickup is also cancelled.
Residents are reminded that all vehicles must be removed from borough streets to facilitate snow removal by the Dept. of Public Works. Vehicles parked on the street will be ticketed and towed by the police department.
Residents are also reminded not to throw snow into the streets. Throwing snow into the street hampers snow removal and endangers vehicluar traffic. Thank you for your cooperation.
Due to the snow storm, Bergenfield Borough Hall will open at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, January 11. 
The January 12, 2011 session of the Bergenfield Municipal Court is cancelled due to the pending snowstorm. All cases will be rescheduled by the Court Clerk and you will be notified by mail of the new Court date.

The Garbage/Recycling Newsletter inadvertently left out garbage pickup for the Southeast Quadrant 3# on Thursday December 23rd and Thursday December 30th. Garbage will be picked up on those two days as will the recycling materials indicated in the Newsletter. We apologize for any inconvenience this error may have caused.
