Come meet representatives from the Bergenfield Health Department and the Municipal Drug/Alcohol Alliance at Family Fun Day this Sunday, June 12th! We will have two tables set up around the perimeter of the ball field from 1pm to 3pm. Joining us will also be a representative from Family Care for those families that qualify for low-cost medical care.
We are using this opportunity to talk about childhood obesity, one of the most important health problems in the United States today. As always, nurses will be available to take your blood pressure free of charge and talk about proper nutrition, body mass, and any other health related issue that we may be able to help you with.
Family Fun Day is FREE to Bergenfield residents but you must register to attend. There will be another registration session at the Bergenfield Borough Hall Council Chambers (2nd) Thursday, June 9th, from 7 – 9pm. You can also register at the park. Out of town residents can purchase wrist bands for $5.00/person with a maximum of $30/family. Fireworks at 9PM!
