Bergen County Superintendent of Elections Patricia DiCostanzo issued a notice that Tuesday, October 18, 2016, is the last day for residents to register to vote for the November 8, 2016, General Election in the State of New Jersey. In order to be eligible to vote, a person must be an American Citizen, be 18 years old on or before November 8, 2016, and be a resident of New Jersey and Bergen County by October 18, 2016.

Healthy Eating Workshop
The Bergenfield Sustainable Committee, in conjunction with the Department of Health, will hold a workshop at the community garden located on Windsor Road on Thursday, August 11th from 12 noon to 1:00 p.m. The rain date is Friday, August 12th. The topic of the workship is healthy eating from your garden which will be presented by Ms. Patty Marsilio August. Refreshments will be served during the event. This program is funded by a Sustainable Jersey grant awarded to the Borough of Bergenfield.

Memorial Day Services - Monday, May 30, 2016
Due to the expected inclement weather, changes have been made to the Memorial Day Services. The Fire Department services have been moved to Alert Fire House. The Veteran's Committee Ceremony will be held in front of Borough Hall, or in the Council Chambers if it rains. The parade will be held, rain or shine. The parade will start on Washington Avenue and Sylvan Avenue and proceed up Washington Avenue to Borough Hall.
