PURPOSE: The Borough of Bergenfield is seeking funding through the State of New Jersey’s Urban Parks Program and the Green Acres Program for improvements at the Twin Boro Field located at 100 Twin Borough Lane, Bergenfield NJ, 07621 (Block 3, Lot 214).
PROJECT SCOPE: The Borough of Bergenfield proposes improvements at Twin Boro Field by increasing recreation capacity at the site. A concept plan showing the proposed changes, a preliminary cost estimate, and an environmental impact assessment for the project can be found below.
PUBLIC HEARING INFORMATION: The public is encouraged to attend a public hearing in part with the Mayor and Council meeting to learn more about the proposal and to ask questions or provide comments on the proposed plan. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at 8:00PM. The meeting will be conducted in-person at the Borough Hall Council Chambers on the 3rd Floor located at 198 N. Washington Avenue, Bergenfield, NJ 07621. The Borough Administrator will make a brief presentation followed by a question-and-answer period.
